Delivered an insightful talk on 'Quantum Science for Quantum Technology' during a day-long brainstorming session organized by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University in Bhubaneswar on June 28, 2024.
The session focused on quantum communication, quantum sensors, and quantum algorithms and revolved around discussing the advancements and prospects of quantum science and its transformative potential in technology.
Emphasized the significance of quantum science as a cornerstone for the next technological revolution and delved into the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics.
Further, the session discussed how quantum computing, with its unprecedented processing power, can solve complex problems in seconds and how this capability opens up new avenues in various fields, including cryptography, material science, and artificial intelligence. The presentation also covered real-world quantum technology applications that Batoi is working on.
