Understanding Influence of Shankar Jaikishan on World Music

Shankar Jaikishan rewrote the grammar of Indian music, and successfully represented the creative expression of young India in 1950s. Later, they went on to become the greatest music composers from India and had a radical impact on music created by successive generations of music composers from India and abroad. My interest in their music grew from childhood, and I have made significant effort to understand their creative contribution to music better. I have created a website on Shankar Jaikishan music with an extensive compilation of their biographical details, musical scores, chronological data and related resources.
